The Bass Coast Community Foundation is proud to announce that the recipients of support through its Tertiary Support Program have been selected. This program provides financial support to local students in their second and third year of tertiary study. As well as financial support the students are also matched with a trained and accredited mentor through YMCA Bass Coast. This support provides them with a sounding board and source of advice as they continue to adjust to life in the city and university level study, and as they start to think about life and career after graduation.
The new 2017 recipients who have started their second year of tertiary study are:
Dominique is from Harmers Haven, and is completing a double degree in Arts and Law at Monash University.
Sarah is from Cape Paterson, and is completing a Bachelor of Communication at RMIT University.
Kelsey is from Woolamai, and is completing a Bachelor of Environmental Science at Deakin University.
They join the 2016 recipients who are now entering third year: Annie Forsyth, Karen Gervasi and Kelly Frilay-Cox.
The Foundation thanks Aquasure for their financial support for this initiative, and YMCA Bass Coast for the provision of mentoring support.
We need YOUR help to ensure that the talented youth of the Bass Coast receive the best opportunities! you can be part of this amazing story for as little as $10 per month, every little helps :-)
