The program offers awards of $4000 per year for students applying for study in second year at a recognised Australian tertiary institution. Award recipients are matched with a mentor who will provide support for them through up to two years of study.
The Bass Coast Community Foundation is proud to announce that the recipients for the Performance Awards in 2017 have been selected. All three were secondary school students in 2016, living in the Bass Coast region, with a demonstrated talent in their performance discipline, and who will need to move away in 2017 to continue their studies in the performing arts.
The Bass Coast Community Foundation is proud to announce that the recipients of support through its Tertiary Support Program have been selected. This program provides financial support to local students in their second and third year of tertiary study. As well as financial support the students are also matched with a trained and accredited mentor through YMCA Bass Coast. This support provides them with a sounding board and source of advice as they continue to adjust to life in the city and university level study, and as they start to think about life and career after graduation.

What are the characteristics that create a cohesive lurch forward, a movement that at it’s core holds the emotional, spiritual and physical wellness of all of its constituents across all of its socio-economic, cultural and capability spectrum, as its purpose?
